I don't know about catches or yards being consistent game in ańd game out but I can see him breaking randy moss's td record and becoming one of the biggest stars in the game. He also seems to be the emotional leader of the team in a way. At least in that this shit really matters to Him and he doesn't fuck around.

Great pick glad we got a real #1 suck a butt theebs

I agree. I think he will be the best thing about our offense this year.

if he caught 4 balls and didn't hit 100 yards for the year and we won the superbowl I wouldn't think he'd mind.

I can't see him breaking the touchdown record. Isn't it like 23 or something?

Not with all our weapons.

I mean, the year Moss broke it, the Patriots were averaging like 50 points per game.

Aside from Dez, Witten, and Romo, I'll take a wait and see approach with the rest of the offensive "weapons".

Why? Romo has proven the ability to turn average joes into above average performers.

Is Patrick Crayton even still in the league? Laurent Robinson?

I think we've got plenty of ammunition on offense with Harris (love this guy nohomo), Austin, Hanna (love this guy nohomo). Plus throw in the rooks Williams, Pablo, and Randle.

What is the single season Cowboys reception record? I could see Dez having a shot at that before him having a shot at the single season TD reception record.

I am skeptical. Austin needs to stay healthy and we need to see a lot more from the rest of the guys you mentioned. Plus I am still worried about a running game.

Our reception leader only had 15 catches?

Damn, no wonder we suck.

Michael Irvin had 111 catches in '95.

TD's not receptions.

EDIT: NM I went back and re-read what Middie posted.

I was talking about TDs.

He'd need to average 7 receptions a game in order to beat that.

During the last 7 weeks of the season, when he was so dominant, he was averaging 6.7 receptions a game.

Hmm.

IMO, Dez is the reason this team has hope this season. He will bring a dimension to this team that we haven't seen the last 5 years...it'll be interesting to see how This season unfolds
