THis was fun, those trips to cincy and baltimore that year while vinny threw picks was just awesome. I remember the pain of that season vividly for some reason...the whole season felt odd like they were not ready and did not have a plan for that year or something.

notice moose says parcells thinks romo is more prepared to play, makes sense since henson was just signed but still shows the mindset on romo behind the scenes as early as 04.

There was a reporter at fox 4 named nita wiggins who went to tony romo's apartment in the summer going into the 05 season. She did this great interview with him and I recorded it and lost it on a hard drive and I am mad about it so I thought I would tell you.

One thing I always remember about that game for some reason is that Julius Jones was coming off the broken collarbone and was listed as "out" all week long until Friday when he was "doubtful"... And then he started the game.

I'd forgotten that Henson fumbled on the first play of the game. Crazy. He really sucked.

You're right, that 2004 year was almost surreal. I wouldn't go so far as to say the team quit, but the second half of the year it's almost like they did. I think Parcells knew that team was hopeless or something. I think I remember Roy Williams saying Parcells withdrew and barely talked to them the last several games that year. Guess he'd already decided he was moving to the 34 or whatever.
