Through 8 games

Jets offense - 168 pts scored
Cowboys offense - 150 pts scored

absolutely, positively embarrassing...

not blaming Romo here...get garrett the fuck out of here!

The offense is the achilles heal of this team.

It's beyond embarrassing. They don't execute. They don't line up correctly. They're heavily penalized. 6 blockers will allow three pass rushers to pressure Romo. Ect etc etc.

Garrett needs to go. The Oline needs to be overhauled. Dez needs to go. Felix needs to go. We need a running back not made of glass.

Basically, we're fucked.

I don't want to get rid of Ryan.

If anything, his unit has been decimated by injuries (Ratliff, Lee, Church -- the entire middle of the D) and they've still been carrying the team.

His players respond to him for the most part. The offense just keeps putting them in bad spots and leaving them on the field for too long.

In today’s NFL i don’t believe you start from scratch. That makes no sense to me. Getting good players is hard. Why get rid of the productive ones? You also don’t get rid of your good coaches. The answer is complex. You need someone with an eye for talent and an eye for coaching to pick out the good and get rid of the bad ones. Other than someone vaporizing the Jones family, i don’t know what the answer is.

Two questions I would love answered by Jones..

1) What has Jason Garrett ever actually done that keeps with your "he's going to be great coach" routine? Seriously, what has he done. Held a nice press conference? I can't think of a single thing.

2) What did the scouts, you, Ciskowski, Callahan, whoever.. ever see in Mackenzy Bernadeau, a guy who couldn't earn a job on a subpar Carolina offensive line, to make you think throwing a few million dollars at him and making him a starter was a good idea?

We can identify talent at some positions, but we are absolutely lost when it comes to judging offensive line talent. I'd give you a list of names we've drafted or signed in FA, but you know them already.

I get that but you watch Bernadeau and then you think why did we put him in this position? He never showed much of anything at Carolina. Do the Cowboys have some sort of secret formula.. certain size player + age + whatever = future star ? What are they basing the decision to pay him on? He looks good in a uniform? They saw him play 4 years ago at Division 7 Bentley and really liked the way he handled 5'11" 265 lb defensive tackles ? He has a unique name? What was it? Nothing about his history suggests he would be a good starter yet we run out and sign him on the 2nd day of Free Agency for $11 million. It's not like we were scrambling and had to settle for this clown, we sprinted out of the gates to sign him.

Livings sucks too but at least he was a multiple game starter and he flashed occasional competence. Bernadeau has never shown a damn thing.
