Although I doubt it happens, I want in the playoffs. I'd love for Romo to win another playoff game. I'd love for the team to gain the experience. And obviously, making the playoffs means we're a better team, which ultimately is whats most important.

Basically I'm still tired of the 1 playoff win in 400 years thing, and how Romo doesn't win playoff games etc etc etc. I'd like that to end.

top 10 picks start to become useless if you're not committed to rebuilding.

If you're starting over then you start using top 10 picks on QBs and pass rushers and whatever, letting older players walk and start a genuine youth movement.

A playoff appearance means a whole off-season of "right direction" and "In Garrett we trust," and I can't have any of that.

playoffs, without question

probably unlikely based on what we've seen the first 5 games, but I still WANT them to win

worse record means better chance of Jones relinquishing (some) control and Garrett either getting the boot or is forced to give up playcalling, which are necessary for the long-term health of this franchise.

Still, until we are officially eliminated I will always root for a playoff run. Just how I was raised.

Undecided.

Football takes a back seat to everything for me right now.

I was thinking about it this morning. I honestly don't give a shit about the team right now. I don't care if they win or lose. No interest at all.

I get what you are saying but these are lies we tell ourselves from time to time. You care. Your posting on a message baord about this team. You tell yourself these things to help cope with the constant disappointment, but deep down, you care.

I stopped caring about the Dodgers years ago. I really don't follow them or baseball at all anymore. I can never envision me not caring about or following the Cowboys.

Do you really believe that? I mean, really?

I know he did it before, but he needed that stadium. He's got everything he wants now. A big ass ugly stadium/art museum/mall. Three SB wins. More money than you can spend in a lifetime.

He's never going to relinquish power.

I think this is the second or 3rd time I've posted in this section of the forum since the Ravens game.

Without a doubt, the only reason I've been around is, is to keep SP informed on what's going on with this election.

Yes. I believe every year we fail to meet expectations and he gets closer to his death there is more and more a chance he will hire a football guy.

I know it seems impossible, but the Yankee fans used to feel that way about Steinbrenner. I have to hold out hope that sometime soon, his desire to win will beat out his desire to be the reason why we win.

I almost took the high pick option, but if we make it to the playoffs that means I was 100% wrong about Garrett and the direction this team is headed, and I'd be OK with that...provided next year we don't suck unbelievable amounts of ass. Plus, we'd get to read more from Gloating Hostile, and who doesn't want that?

I'd enjoy it just for the entertainment value he brings to the CZ Bitching Thread that we have hidden in our secret forum. That thread has become rather boring since he got shat canned and retreated to THE OWN!!!

Top 10 pick. We might not even have to tear it all down in order to rebuild. Witten's body is this close to breaking down and that would leave us Ware, Rat and Romo as the old guys, who unfortunately, however you want to look at it, are stuck here, regardless.

playoffs without question.

The only way to have a chance to win is to make the playoffs.

unfortunately we wont make the playoffs or have a top 10 draft pick....

'09 was fun. I wouldn't mind something like that again.

I don't have faith that the organization will put together a championship team anytime soon, with or without several choice draft picks.
