That was just plain stupid. There's no getting around it. Everyone knows you make a guy pass a physical first before you give him $10 million. He has a degenerative knee. At the end of last season he was limping. How did everyone just miss that?

If the guy was halfway decent, the Cowboys will hold onto him regardless of what it will do to the club financially or if it's obvious that his best playing days are long gone.
