Just heard on the Ticket...

What a strange situation. Wonder what took so long. Sounds like the guy almost has some mental issues.

Homers will use this as backup of Garretts no non sense approach
Right, forgetting Randle kept defiantly saying "six points" when Ginger or anyone else admonished him about leaving his feet and sticking the ball out there.

Get this... One of the sort of secondary Ticket guys when Norm was out this morning was saying that he got in a cab in New York last game and Randle was getting out. The cab driver then said, "Man, NFL players are kind of weird." The guy (not sure of his name, Sean Bass?) asked what he meant. The cab driver said Randle asked him driver to keep the meter running and go in to a clothes store and shop with him. The cab driver thought that was really strange, but as long as the meter was running he didn't care so he did it. Randle said he'd never been shopping by himself before so he wanted the guy there.

Donnie wondered if he was a klepto and wanted the cabbie there to keep him from stealing something, but the show host thought it wasn't that, but that this guy was so inexperienced at life that he simply always had a friend or girlfriend or family member or chaperone type guy with him. The host thought this might have been behind the underwear-cologne arrest, that Randle just sort of panicked because he didn't know what to do and walked out with the stuff.

Very very weird to say the least. But this is the guy we were counting on to take over for one of the best players and best leaders on our team this year.

must have been for attitude, because he was fairly decent on the field

Yeah, except the homers were all over his jock/panties (pun intended) from the moment we let Murray walk. Now they're behind the decision to release Randle.....whatever the team does, they support.

Awesome news.

And :lol @ Jonathan Bales who was a condescending prick to @DCUForums on twitter when I wasn't a believer in Randle.

He was against Randle from the moment he was drafted. Did Bales change his mind?

Joseph Randle clears waivers
Posted by Michael David Smith on November 4, 2015, 5:01 PM EST

No one wants Joseph Randle.

Randle, the talented but troubled running back who was waived by the Cowboys, passed through waivers unclaimed. That means 31 other teams had the chance to add him, and all 31 passed.

That’s not a big surprise, as Randle abruptly left the Cowboys last week and is reportedly facing an NFL suspension as a result of a February incident in which he was accused of domestic violence. Randle’s off-field issues are more than any team wants to take on right now.

Eventually, Randle may be able to get things sorted out and get back on the field. He started six games for the Cowboys this season and had 76 carries for 315 yards and four touchdowns. He’s a pretty good player, and some team needing a running back may sign him as a free agent.

Randle is only 23 years old and still has time to turn his career around. But it may be a while before he gets that opportunity.

Just because he's a turd and idiot doesn't mean he wasn't talented... just not someone you can hang your hat on. Like a cowbell, remember?

Why do cows wear bells?

Cuz their horns don't work.

Randle left a lot of meat on the bone.

His "talent" is certainly debatable. He's no better than any other average NFL back. I think we just traded up as it is.

I think he was a good receiver in college.
