I originally had Baltimore, but with their recent injuries to the secondary I've moved on to the Jets.

I see the best like this.

Jets,Colts,Chargers,Bengals,Ravens. My top five.

I'm going with San Diego based solely off of them essentially having 7 bye weeks this year. I think they'll cruise to the #1 seed, and I think they have enough talent to fend off a Colts, Ravens, or Jets team in the Championship game.

Yeah, but San Diego is still missing McNeil and Jackson.

I know Merriman just signed his tender, so their chances just went up.

They need McNeil and Jackson as well.

Merriman won't be worth a shit, IMO.

But yeah, McNeil and Jackson missing time doesn't help.

I think the Jets take a step back this year. They are way too full of themselves. The head coach, in particular.

They get them back, the Chargers soar to the top of the AFC for sure.

Probably looking at a Jets and Chargers AFC Championship game.

Smart money is on Payton Manning, imo.

The Colts are always a part of the equation with Peyton Manning, but they were in the Super Bowl last year.

It's always harder to get back there once you were there the year before.

Don't like their chances with Rex Ryan being their head coach? I do.

People forget they were a 9-7 team last year.

They added some talent, but also some knuckleheads.

Plus, it's been proven time and time again that a team, moreso than individual talent, wins in the NFL.

I don't think the bottom falls out, but I see them as 9-7 again.

Could be you never know, but I see them more as a 11-5 team with Miami and New England right on their tail.

Anyone of those teams could take that division.

I will say the Chargers didn't look bad at all missing McNeil and Jackson on offense In tonights game.

I wanted him to coach here. So yeah, I like him. I just don't like the way this team is approaching this season. I don't think they were as good as the playoff run last year. Often times a rookie QB will take a step back the next year.

If there's any football next year, I'd expect them to be a serious threat but for this year I prefer New England and Miami.
