Since week 9, Travis Frederick is their top graded C. Has surrendered only 2 hurries in that span.

Leary is definitely the weakest link on the Oline. It was Fletcher Cox, but still.

I've thought all along that Frederick gets talked about too little, Martin too much. (Not that Martin isn't good.)

Luck or not, Fred was a great, great draft pick. Props to Callahan.

He was a great pick. We are so long removed from the days of Andre Gurode's errant snaps and complete obliviousness in regards to spotting the blitz. It's good stuff.

Not sure how he's graded out for the yr, but he's been pretty consistent. Cox wasn't anywhere near as noticeable Sunday night as he was Thanksgiving Day b the way.

Gurode was very good, but it always seemed odd to me that he apparently had trouble making the line calls.

Not a criticism of Gurode, but one of the things that's great about Frederick is that he's so bright.

Mildly suprised that Leary is ranking below Free. But I think Free might benefit from having Martin next to him.

Also, I thin I've read where Free is a good leader and the OL guys really respect him.

Not sure why on rag on Leary so much. He's been very solid throughout the season. As for weak link... is he the 5th best Olineman? Probably. Somebody has to be the 5th best out of 5.

Felt the same way. Like he just got lost in all the talk of Smith and Martin, but maybe that's a good thing. Forgot how it was to have a Center that didn't know the line calls --- the guard (Kosier) next to him had to make them; and didn't hike the ball way over Romo's head (Gurode and Costa), or got blown back off the LOS and into Romo's lap.

Excellent pickup. Knowing what people know now of Fredericks... if the draft was done over, where would he go?

people around the league seemed to think he was pretty good, and he did make multiple probowls

Aside from not knowing the line calls and his occasional errant snaps... Gurode was a good center. Haynesworth would attest to that.
