No Rush On 2nd Round Signings, Either

With good reason a lot of attention has been paid to the potential hurdles the Cowboys will have in signing top draft choice Dez Bryant. Thus far no 2010 first-round picks have signed.

With sixth-rounder Jamar Wall agreeing to terms Wednesday, the Cowboys have only two picks from April left to go - Bryant and second-round linebacker Sean Lee. Bryant is thought to be the more difficult of the two, but there is still work to do on Lee as well.

As of early Wednesday afternoon only two second-rounders have been signed. The Cowboys haven't had serious problems getting Round 2 choices to camp on time in the past, though Flozell Adams did miss a little practice work way back in 1998.

Both Lee and Bryant will probably be in San Antonio this weekend in anticipation of having their deals finalized, though neither can be part of the team until the i's are dotted and the t's are crossed.

Gut feeling is Lee gets signed before Saturday's 2 p.m. camp-opening practice. I think Bryant will miss a few days.
