Irvin has said this many times. Apparently, Michael doesn't understand how salary caps work.


Either that or he expected the team to restructure everyone and completely mortgage the future.

sometimes doing the right thing hurts. yes, we'll miss his production (if not his fumbling), but we ran him into the ground last season and I think we unloaded him right when his arrow was headed down.

Irvin is a huge homer. I mean, if we could've duplicated our offensive philosophy - have an 1800 yard rusher - with this pass rush, then yeah were tough to beat.

But dynasties aren't made in one year.
