Tight end Martellus Bennett worked with the first-team offense during the Dallas Cowboys' limited morning practice on Friday at the Alamodome, but he is unlikely to play in Sunday's Hall of Fame exhibition game against Cincinnati at Canton, Ohio.
Bennett missed the first nine practices because of a sprained ankle incurred during an unsupervised workout before camp opened. He participated in the next 12 practices but has had problems moving since his reutrn.
By practicing, Bennett has been unable to give the ankle more time for healing. He likely will get the break this weekend. Coach Wade Phillips said that by not using Bennett out of the game, he would have almost four full days off before the next practice: on Tuesday at Cowboys Stadium.
``I'm still thinking about holding him out,'' Phillips said. ``But he wants to play.''

It looks like "Limp Biscuit" is taking the weekend off.

It's alright, thank god we have John Phillips.
