This isn't going to be popular but I think we should leave the secondary alone and wait for Johnson to get healthy.

I think we should use churh's roster spot on a defensive lineman.

We dressed 5 lineman today and 8 linebackers. And spears I'm not so sure is really healthy.

That's no good. We need help up front.

I want Butler back because he's talented and versatile role player.

And I'd rather bring him back and play him at safety than take Carr off of corner and move him there.

IRVING — After being cut last weekend, cornerback Mario Butler resurfaced on the Cowboys’ practice squad.

Butler, who signed with Dallas as an undrafted free agent in 2010, appeared in the Cowboys’ victory over the New York Giants on Sept. 5. But he was inactive the following week against Seattle.

And when linebacker Orie Lemon was promoted to the active roster from the practice squad last Saturday it was Butler who was sacrificed.
