Kickoff Spectacular planned for Friday at Alamodome

If you're heading down to San Antonio on Friday for training camp, the Cowboys are offering a Kickoff Spectacular at the Alamodome at 7 p.m. that is free and open to the public.

Voice of the Cowboys, Brad Sham, will serve as the evening's host and includes player and coach introductions, performances by the Cowboys cheerleaders as well as musical performances by Bowling for Soup and El Duelo.

Owner and general manager Jerry Jones and coach Wade Phillips will address the crowd and usually a couple of players make some remarks.

The Alamodome doors open at 6 p.m. Friday and parking is $10.

San Diego? We had a board member get killed in San Diego from a drunk driver.

He spent countless hours on our message board, then one day didn't show, then we heard the terrible news.
