Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones told reporters there were no moral victories for his team after its 34-31 loss to the Green Bay Packers.

Jones did acknowledge to reporters that if there were any consolation for his team it is that rookies Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott did not appear intimidated by the playoff moment.

"There's no moral victory here," Jones told reporters after the divisional round loss. "There might have been a moral victory if we had continued to play the way it was looking earlier. But for this bunch to come back, get it together ... to see those guys come back and compete like that, then I know if we won this game we were capable of doing a good job against in this case Atlanta and probably a good job in the Super Bowl.

"In other words, I don't want to say in any way it's any consolation but I know this: They are capable of playing at this level, the kind of level we would have expected."

I guess the only hope if he sticks with Red Headed Boob is we continue to draft well and assemble an overwhelming abundance of talent on both sides of the ball, so that they can overcome Garrett's obvious shortcomings.

Hey, chin up fans, this is progress, it wasn't that long ago that he was counting moral victories as "W's"

So is the red clown getting less credit for the season now?

Da fuq is he saying? That this was better than a moral victory? Because it would have been a moral victory if we'd continued on the 14-3 pace, but we did better than that?

In other words, give him 1st team All-Pros at EVERY position. Too expensive, and he'll still be one and done in the playoffs.

That's funny. His hand picked sock puppet coach was totally relishing the participation trophy in his post game presser. Fighting, clawing, and scratching is surely better than winning.
