Jerry Jones has implied that Dez Bryant's injury may have occurred due to overwork and indicated the club should take a look at what it does to see if it can lessen the possibility that an injury will occur.

Tight end Jason Witten doesn't know what can be done.

"It's hard,'' Witten said. "You know, obviously you want to stay away from those type of injuries, but you're playing football. It's competitive. It's the way you get better.

"It's unfortunate (Bryant's injury), but I don't think it's anybody's fault. It's just one of those things when you're playing.''

Aren't players supposed to be pushed and challenged in training camp?

"You have to,'' Witten said. "This is the grind of camp. For us to be where we want to be down the road we have to play well right now. This is something where you build the team. You have to push it.

"That's what the dog days of camp are all about.''
