Personally, I think think that all Hamas should be eliminated by Israel. Like we treat ISIS.

Hamas is set to demand the release of some of the most notorious Palestinian terrorists, whom Israel has refused to set free, in talks set to start in Egypt on Monday to finalize the return of all Israeli hostages in the first phase of US President Donald Trump’s plan to end the war in Gaza.

Citing Hamas sources, Channel 12 reported that among the terrorists Hamas is demanding are Marwan Barghouti, the Fatah Tanzim chief serving five life sentences for his part in planning three terror attacks that killed five Israelis during the Second Intifada, and Ahmad Sa’adat, leader of the Marxist-Leninist Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), who was sentenced in 2008 to 30 years behind bars for masterminding the 2001 assassination of Israeli tourism minister Rehavam Ze’evi.

Hamas was also demanding the release of Ibrahim Hamed, serving 45 life terms for orchestrating the killings of numerous Israelis as Hamas’s West Bank commander during the Second Intifada, Abbas al-Sayed, who orchestrated the 2002 bombing at the Park Hotel in Netanya in which 39 Israelis were killed, and Hamas’s Hassan Salameh, who is serving 48 life terms for plotting multiple suicide bombings.

Channel 12 cited a Hamas source saying the terror group “won’t give up” on securing the release of these and other life-term terrorists, even at the cost of dooming the deal.”

Here is a lesson for any country like Israel if they are ever attacked and feel the need to retaliate. It is a lesson the US under George HW Bush understood when they booted Iraq out of Kuwait.

If you plan to attack, attack in overwhelming force and achieve victory as quickly as possible. Going back to Vietnam, the left in America, and around the world, learned that if given time, propaganda can change attitudes on a massive scale. After the Vietnam war, North Vietnamese officials and military leaders talked about how they used the left wing demonstrations in America in their planning. They knew if they delayed and stalled the peace efforts eventually the media in America would change attitudes against the war and North Vietnam, our enemy, would be able to achieve a better deal in negotiations. This is why they walked out of truce talks several times.

Hamas has done the same thing with Israel. Israel should have used the mandate of Oct 7 to obliterate Gaza in a few weeks. After 2 years, people are no longer concerned about Oct 7 and the brutality of Hamas against Israeli women and children. The left in America has changed all that.

i’ve always thought the only three options there are annihilation, capitulation or forgiveness but none are on the table

So in my opinion, whatever is happening now is just a cease-fire masquerading as a peace deal

That place is like the Hatfields & McCoys, it’s just a matter of time before the violence resumes in some new horrifying way

And I don’t trust this current deal to happen. I bet Hamas pulls some nonsense before the hostages are released or the full deal is executed but I hope I’m wrong and they are released asap

It's just like Vietnam all over again. Cease fires are used to restock, rearm, put new strategies in place and rebuild new defenses. If Hamas does break the truce in any meaningful way, I hope Israel takes the opportunity to obliterate them.

Culture Secretary Lisa Nandy has announced a crackdown on hate preachers at mosques and Islamic centres as part of the government’s new efforts to combat antisemitism.

While, in further measures to counter Jew-hate, thousands of teachers and university staff will receive training from the Union of Jewish Students (UJS) on how to identify antisemitism and harassment under plans announced by the Education Secretary.

Jewish News – who first told of Keir Starmer’s determination to counter the rise of antisemtism last week after he was heavily criticised following the Manchester synagogue atrocity – can reveal that the government is also establishing a new Antisemitism Working Group to advise on effective responses.
