Been told that Cowboys really wanted Sparano back but Garrett really liked the idea of Callahan and the fit. Not a Jones puppet deal here.

If this hire doesn't pan out what better way for Jerry to put the blame on Garrett.

I personally like the hiring of Callahan, but I will admit I wanted Sparano back badly.

Romo worked well with him.
