He'd definitely be a fan favorite as he was at NU (and here he'd have the hometown thing going too) because his effort level is off the charts, but I don't know if he's a good enough athlete to be any good at this level. He's one of those guys that as much as you admire how hard he plays, he's probably physically maxed out.
Problem is, say Murray gets banged up like usual... I can't see any way this guy is your regular backup RB. I think best case he's a little like Kevin Faulk was at NE. Maybe a third down specialist who doesn't make a lot of big gains but is super dependable and gets you that six yards when it's 3rd and 5.
