A report following Sunday’s disastrous loss to the Philadelphia Eagles highlighted massive coaching issues for the Dallas Cowboys.

Said report concluded that Dallas sat Amari Cooper for the majority of the fourth quarter with the belief that Tavon Austin could have more success as a speedier option against Philadelphia’s secondary.

This was downright absurd in every way. We are talking about a three-time Pro Bowler in Cooper who was already up over 1,000 yards on the season compared to Austin’s 11 catches heading into Week 16.

We now might have some more clarification here. It comes to us via longtime Cowboys beat writer Clarence Hill and is an absolute whopper. Dallas apparently benched Cooper due to his performance in the game.

So let me get this straight.....

Garrett hasn’t seen fit to bench one single mother fucker all season long with the handfuls of shitty performances we have seen each and every damn week

But with the game on the line, with the season on the line, with the playoffs hangin in the balance, and with Garrett’s career on the line on 4th and 8 he chooses this time to pretend to grow a pair and bench a motherfucker?

GTFOH!

This ginger shitstain can’t be flushed down the toilet fast enough

:funny: so in what appears to be the last week of Garretts stint as HC, he's finally trying to get tough with players?

Garrett hasn't benched a player for poor performance in any season.

Cooper's playing hurt, end of non-story.

That said, never should have been a game/season on the line situation where he isnt on the field. This sounds like the typical damage control b/s floated out by Garrett and his people. He knows his stupid ass is being lit up nationally for it. I also find it interesting that this came out after Steven Jones was on the radio yesterday morning and when this question came up, you could tell by his answer that he was kinda PO'd and said something like "we will be asking him and the other coaches about that later"

Garrett himself had already tried to blame Kellen Moore for it anyway.

Just another reason not to pay this turd like he's a #1 receiver, which he most certainly is not.

He's definitely a #1 WR.

Is he the BEST WR in the league or one of the top 3-5 guys? Probably not (although he is an absolutely fantastic route runner and is certainly one of the top guys in that regard). But he's definitely a legit #1 guy. There's 32 of them in the league, you honestly feel like he isn't 1 of those? Gimmee a break.

I'm not advocating for resetting the market or anything with his deal, but he is a legit #1 guy.

i refuse to blame players for this shitshow. we have had a many players cycle through this same system with the same god damn results. year after year. player after player.

it’s the system. the culture. the environment which produces and cultivates the suck ass loser attitudes.

the culture of the entire organization just seems to turn every player into mush

contrast this with the culture created by coaches like Parcells, Jimmy, etc who use constant pressure to see who can withstand the stress and in the process, the cream rises to the top and the players that cant handle it slowly disappear from the team with the end result being a bunch of like minded, tough, hard working players that perform well as a team.

there's no pressure with Cowboys thus one of many reasons why the pipes burst so often on game days
