While he's busy morphing into Tom Landry, I guess other teams in our division are just going to be prepared and win games. It's a process for sure. Only had 10 days to prepare for a rookie QB. Oh, and before you blame the special teams play, it's actually the HC's job to figure out if a unit sucks. Not like DeCamillis is gonna just walk into Garrett's office and be like "dude, I suck, so I'm gonna quit."

You all may now resume sucking off the ginger colored garrett penis effigy that you made when he got promoted for doing nothing.

I'm actually going to go over to the Zone after this game. I can't wait to read the Garrett excuses. It should be some much needed comedy after watching my two teams not try this weekend.

no one escapes criticism after this game... Seemed everyone but Spencer had a forgettable game.

Outcoached and outprepped by Pete Carroll, who is one of the shittiest NFL coaches of all time.

The recent first rounders (Smith, Dez, Felix) all looked like shit too. I'm not too sure about the player development here.

When Romo is playing magical ball, people think the coaches are genius and Garrett gets praised. When Romo is off (and the team coincidentally is losing), then the real issues and holes are exposed.

I like what Ryan is doing here, but the other units killed the team today. It's not the loss that really hurts since most expected the team to start 1-1 anyway, but the way they lost today is very bothersome.

Agreed. Carroll has gone backwards in Seattle and make some of the dumbest coaching moves and draft picks around. He flat out pwned Garrett today. I don't see Garrett improving. One, he has a boss who is a clown and wants Garrett to make it since he handpicked him for greatness and two, Garrett is blind to his own shortcomings.

What has Pete Carroll done so wrong with his draft picks? Bruce Irvin came up huge at one point today.

Richard Sherman turned into a genius pick. Kam Chancellor too.

As I just said in the other thread, Romo has kept Garrett employed for 5 straight seasons now. The emergence of guys like Robinson and Ogletree is exciting as a fan, but it just hides Garrett's flaws and weaknesses. When the QB is improvising around a poorly-coached and shitty oline and finding his 4th-5th option regularly, then something is seriously wrong with the coaching here.

many feel Irvin was a reach at 15. James Carpenter was a reach. He traded a 2nd or 3rd for Charlie Whitehurst only to give up on him a year later. Paid Tavaris Jackson big money to rightfully give up on him. Then paid Matt Flynn a nice contract to lose out to a 5'10" rookie.

I said draft picks but I should have said overall personnel decisions. He also keeps booting his Offensive Coordinators. He just isn't a NFL coach to me, he belongs in college. Whereas Jason Garrett hasn't even shown he can be a Head Coach at any level.

fitting that you posted a picture of Hostile in this thread.

On so many different levels.

We've given you a lot shit on this... but earned your propers on this one. I was against the higher of Garrett intially, and I liked him less when he sandbagged Wade---although at the same time, I was glad to see Wade go. Fact is... we can't blame Wade now.

Let's see.... AOA---a converted safety, no longer in the league gotten in the 4th. Or... Kam Chancellor, a bonafide safety gotten in the 5th?

There was no pick that I wanted more than the Kam Chancellor pick.

There's no bigger head scratcher in the NFL than what's going on with the Jones family and the endless supply of Garretts running around Valley Ranch. It would be funny as hell if I wasn't a fan of the damned team. I wasn't even remotely happy when RJ was tapped for HC, but Laz nailed it by saying we were just happy to see Wade take his act elsewhere.

Another head scratcher is this: what the hell does it take to get fired as a special teams coach? I don't think it's hyperbole to say that nothing good has ever happened with the special teams since DeCamilis has been here (aside from a good field goal/punt). I know ST coaches have it tough by always having to work with the bottom 20% of the roster (that are churned out every season anyway), but like Garrett, it's frustrating to see other coaches do so much more with so much less.

I was disgusted that we were still trying to pass the ball with 30 seconds left. We could have lost Romo or some other player for nothing. Take a fucking knee, Red.

Remember Bruce Read with his Moe-from-Three-Stooges bowl haircut? He was no more a fuckup of an ST coach than DeCamillis.

Had not DeCamillis broke his neck from Jerry' bubble tent, he probably would have been fired. God I miss Joe Avezzanno. Now THAT was an ST coach. I used to think he was high on coke, but I didn't care. At one time, I think he would have made a hell of an HC.
