Speed and long arms make cornerback Mike Jenkins an ideal candidate for more press coverage this season, Dallas Cowboys coach Wade Phillips said.

The defensive staff has given Jenkins the freedom to play press coverage when he chooses. It is a high-risk, high-reward style in which Jenkins takes on the receiver at the line.

If the receiver breaks free, Phillips said, Jenkins has the speed to catch up and make up for the miss. Jenkins also has strong and long arms that can help him hound the receiver at the line and make interceptions. He had a team-high five interceptions last season.

Pro Bowler Deion Sanders had the same physical gifts. Phillips cautioned Jenkins ``is not Deion'' but is talented enough to play the coverage.

Gawd, this Fraley guy is the absolute worst...he totally sucks arse. They need to put his arse back to covering the Rangers because reporting about a sport he knows absolutely nothing about really shines through each time he has to earn his check with these blog entries. Hell, what idiot couldn't take soft comments like this from Phillips and write such a non-informative POS blog entry and get paid for it?
