Anyone else watch that last night?
What a good, albeit sad, story. So much natural talent flushed down the drain.
What made it sad was, Dupree was a genuinely good person. Didn't get in trouble, wanted to take care of his family, his brother. He just took bad advice from his leech adviser, and Barry Switzer mis-managed him a little.
You see so many shitty humans (Randy Moss, Alan Iverson) blessed with so much natural talent, and they're complete dirtbags. But Dupree really seemed like a good kid who didn't respond as well as he could have/should have to all the pressures.
Before he knew it, he suffered a serious knee injury at 21 years old, and his career was essentially over.
If you get the chance, check it out.
