I'm rooting for unmitigated disaster this year.

I'll be rooting for losses all season long, and I've never done that before, even during the Campo years.

I'm tired of our idiotic, incompetent, apprentice head coach. Loved the hire originally. Guy looks and sounds the part behind the podium, but that is all he offers. He is literally the worst... THE WORST... game day coach I have ever seen. How he wasn't fired this past year is beyond me. So many games were inexcusable losses.

I'm tired of our idiotic, incompetent general manager. And I realize he isn't going anywhere, but I want the pressure he feels to be real. I want him to have to... HAVE TO make a change at head coach. Bring in someone respectable who will demand jerry take more of a back seat. If nothing else let his north of 70 self feel the pressure, stress, heartache, etc.

Thank you Sean Lee for taking the year off.

I'll be rooting for losses every week because I know it's for the best, long term, for my football team.

Tired of this mediocre .500 cesspool we have in Dallas. We are the Lions, Bengals, Cardinals, Browns of the NFL.

I'm at apathy stage but I'd still like to see them do well. Like maybe this shitty LB we drafted is actually legit? Then we can move on from Seangina Lee, who it hurts to criticize because damn if he could stay on the field he'd probably be everyone's favorite player but fuck...it's over, right?

idk

I'm not gonna be upset if we suck. But I'd rather we didn't.

Why do we root for laundry? And feel so loyal to it?

Because my dad watched the Cowboys growing up and they were always on TV, and they won some Super Bowls when I was 12 - 15, I have to root for them for the rest of my life, or I'm not loyal? If I see other players that I enjoy watching, or another coach that I like his methods, or a GM that I respect his process, I can't go root for them because I could be deemed a band-wagon fan as though that's some kind of insult?

I'm a fan of Romo and Witten, and to a lesser extent Dez, because I think they play the game the right way. But this fucking team is the epitome of mediocrity and unaccountability. If that's not something I appreciate, it shouldn't be admirable to continue to spend time and money supporting it. That doesn't sound like loyalty.

I'm loyal to the team in that I could never cheer on another like I have this one. I've been a cowboys fan for way too long.

But yeah, I'm not a blind cheerleader. There's a lot not to like about the current state of the organization. If some clown wants to call me a lesser fan, BFD. I'll survive.

Watching sports wouldn't be much fun if we didn't invest ourselves in it a little.

I must say it is SO NICE to have a Dallas Cowboys message board where the moderators don't kiss Jerry's ass 24/7 and suspend people that don't agree.

The other Cowboys board is almost unreadable now because of all the idiots that think Jerry is a total genius and Jason is the greatest head coach ever

Hard to root for the shitshow this team has become.
John Facenda voice:This once proud franchise has become the laughingstock of the league.

My attitude is worse than rooting against the team,I am indifferent.
San Francisco is going to kick the shit out of us on opening day, then things get lousy.
Meh.

As long as Jerry thinks he should be scouting players and we hire coaches that won't rock the boat, we are doomed.

It has to get awful before it will get better.

8 and 8 seasons keep the delusional hoping.

I will still hope for victory and bitch incessantly when it doesn't happen.

Just wired that way.

The Lee news would have depressed me to no end if we were a threat to do anything this year, but instead I'm all "meh."

Ill always be a Cowboys fan but its not the same anymore. I am trying to join the Browns bandwagon before Manziel takes over the league. I really enjoy fantasy football, i think it makes being a Cowboys fan bearable.

Same here. If I thought we had any shot at anything this year, I'd be bummed. But were horribly flawed, with or without Lee.
