Two free agents, strong safety Will Allen and linebacker Justin Durant, are schedule to visit the Dallas Cowboys on Monday, according to the team’s web site.

Allen started seven games for Pittsburgh last season. A nine-year veteran, he has 33 starts for his career.

Barry Church is set to start at free safety, but the Cowboys need someone to compete with second-year player Matt Johnson at strong safety.

Durant started 14 games for Detroit last season and finished second on the team in tackles. If signed by Dallas, he would compete with second-year player Kyle Wilber at strong-side linebacker.
