The Cowboys writers of SportsDayDFW.com and The Dallas Morning News discussed the Cowboys' training camp workouts from San Antonio's Alamodome on Monday. Here are some highlights:

If Anthony Spencer picks up from where he left off, can he and DeMarcus Ware put enough pressure on QBs to force more turnovers?

David Moore: You would think so. But if you look at how much pressure the Cowboys have applied in recent seasons -- even before Spencer emerged -- you would think that would have resulted in more turnovers.

How has rookie LB Sean Lee looked so far in camp?

Gerry Fraley: Lee is doing well. Picking up assignments at a fast pace. Had some problems with leg cramps on Sunday.

How has S Mike Hamlin looked?

David Moore: Pretty good. He's broken up passes in each of the sessions. The Cowboys like his instincts. Still think Alan Ball will be the starter on opening day, but Hamlin will challenge.

Any chance LB Stephen Hodge gets retained this year because of his special teams ability?

Gerry Fraley: He's going to have trouble getting on the field. Had major knee surgery and is slowly recovering.

Why do kickers only kick 3 or 4 times per practice, shouldnt they kick dozens of attempts?

Gerry Fraley: Don't want to wear out the legs. They do other work such as streching, which is vital.

David Moore: There are only so many kicks a leg has over the course of the season. YOu don't want to use up too many now.
