Not sure how they did this, but this is obviously a record number of 3rd rd draft picks awarded. Seems like most years there's 1-4 at most. Most years there's a ton of 7th rounders awarded compared to the other rounds, but this time there are only three 7th rd picks as opposed to ELEVEN 3rd rd picks.

Seattle was awarded two extra 3rd rd picks this year. The Bengals, Browns, Broncos and Chiefs all were awarded 4 compensatory picks. No NFC East teams got comp picks this year.

Comp picks can be traded this year.

Carolina's 3rd was obviously for losing Josh Norman, Miami lost Olivier Vernon and Lamar Miller. Not sure what players are equated to the others, maybe someone can post.
