I read earlier this evening that Romo contributed to 82% of his teams TDs last year. The next guy(Cam Newton) was at 72%.

I'm sure a lot of that has to do with a weak running game.

There's no doubt in my mind, that if the front office could get a decent line in front of him, and a middle of the pack defense, the guy would win a couple of championships.

The other stat that stood out was, that half of his season int total came in the first four games. He threw for 24 TDs and 5 pics after game four.

In the last month of the season, he threw 10 TDs to only 1 int.

he needs to get better tho, amirite?

Goose gosselin said tonight on fox 4 that the difference between romo and manning is that manning throws his best passes in critical moments and romo does not, then he said the reason the cowboys lost to the giants last year was because romo threw a bunch if interceptions and took a bunch of sacks and manning did not.

That is gosselin showing his lack if integrity and his idiotic arrogance of how to do things.

I sat here laughing throughout his whole time on the show. The guy has become a joke.

He also said we can't compete with th eagles or giants because Jerry traded away our 2nd round pick which was the only way we could improve our pass rush and have a chance to beat the eagles and giants.

And he was as arrogant and as serious as ever, this from a guy who spent months saying fixing the secondary was the top priority.

This is my key to the entire season. The running game has to improve significantly if this team has any chance of accomplishing anything. We lost multiple games last year because we couldn't score touchdowns on goal to go situations and had to settle for FGs.

If Callahan can come in and somehow fix our run game, we have a shot. If not, then we don't.

I really like the Lawrence Vickers signing. I'm hoping he'll be a difference maker who improves the short yardage running game. Otherwise, I'm underwhelmed by the off-season attempts to improve Romo's supporting cast.

T-New was a glaring weakness last season and obviously needed replacing, so I was good with the big bucks replacement (Carr). The team needed a new starting CB ... no arguments from me on that.

The bottom-line is that I think this is an offense-driven league and that it is considerably more difficult to build a dominating defense that wins games for you that it is to build a dominating offense that wins games. The Cowboys were significantly closer to having a dominating offense than a dominating defense heading into the off-season, but rather than moving the offense to an elite level, the organization focused on improving the defense. Overall, I don't think you get as much bang for your buck on defense.

The Vickers signing, though, is one off-season move that keeps me from being entirely pessimistic about the upcoming year. Maybe he'll be good enough in key situations to compensate for the team's weakness in the interior OL.

Perception is key.

To date, Romo's most noteworthy moments in his career is what, that fumbled snap, the Vikings playoff game, and probably the post 2008 Eagles PC.

For years, Eli was labeled Peyton's retarded adopted brother, etc. Then, a miracle helmet catch and a dropped Wes Welker catch, and Eli is suddenly the measuring stick against which all QB's are.... measured :awkward

Bitch please.

Oh, but Detroit/Jet games don't help Romo. Ya douche.
