I loved how he brought a down to earth quality in explaining the play by play. He made the viewer like him by being just a regular Joe fan type with his commentary. Him and Pat Sumerall were a truly great broadcasting team for a long time.

Yeah, totally agree about coaching needing to be a step by step process as well. He's more innovative than Garrett was but I am not interested in a Clapper Part II sequel as the HC just yet. He needs a little more seasoning if ya ask me.
