He had disappeared the previous couple games I believe because he didn't play (hurt)

Looking at stats through 6 weeks

When you look at some of the stats inside those defensive numbers it is concerning. While the rush yds per game allowed is good, the yds per attempt allowed is not (4.4, which ranks 23rd. Some of that is a little skewed though as the run defense on most plays has been solid, but they have shown...

Looking at stats through 6 weeks

Individual: 1) Prescott ranks 5th in QB rating at 103.9, 3rd in yds per attempt at 8.17 and 4th in comp% at 68.7. If those numbers held up, it'd be one of the best seasons a rookie QB has had in league history. 2) Elliott ranks 1st in yds rushing with 703 (116 yds more than #2 guy). 1st in yds...

True or False: Tony will be a Cowboy next year

Morris probably has more trade value than McFadden, plus he is signed next yr as well. But that's why I'd keep him over McFadden. He's younger, he's cheap for next year and he runs in this system extremely well. Now if they believe Darius Jackson will be ready to assume the backup role next yr...

True or False: Tony will be a Cowboy next year

Broaddus was hinting that the Cowboys might trade Morris and keep McFadden as the backup. Its not what I would do.

True or False: Tony will be a Cowboy next year

The salaries don't, but I don't think we can get out of guaranteed money that's owed.

    Day After Thoughts- Week Six

They had Marc Bulger, who was ok but nothing special. They had Steven Jackson at RB. I think they had a .500 record one season and then struggled the next yr. I think they fired him because players there complained about him it seemed like daily, though I don't recall the details.

    Day After Thoughts- Week Six

I don't have the numbers in front of me, but the redzone offense other than the NYG game seems to me to have been good so far. The GB game the two TD's to Beasley were really good calls and play designs, and they were plays I don't remember seeing us run before. Butler ran a route almost every...

Trading Dez Bryant would be idiotic; the 'genius' plays Cowboys made vs. Packers

I'd hate to trade Dez, but that's a pretty get haul. Marshall isn't Dez but he's a decent quality player until replacement comes in. Williams would dominate in this scheme I think. Getting the extra 1st is gravy but potentially nets us another cornerstone player. Cant see the Jets being this...

Trading Dez Bryant would be idiotic; the 'genius' plays Cowboys made vs. Packers

They should ask him if regular season games can end in a tie

    2016 NFL Week #6: Dallas Cowboys (4-1) @ Green Bay Packers (3-1)

Todd Bowles HC career kinda resembling Tony Sparano when he got hired by Miami. Unexpected success the first yr, heaps of praise thrown on. Then death spiral. The Jets are a lousy team this year.

    Day After Thoughts- Week Six

There have been some subtle hints at it for a week or so now. The latest coming from Gil Brandt, who says he truly believes we'll see Smith week 13 or 14. Guess we'll see. I never thought he'd play this year but if he does and he's even 80% of what he was at Notre Dame, he'd be a pretty good...

True or False: Tony will be a Cowboy next year

That might be true, but can we make the cap hit work? That's the question.

    2016 NFL Week #6: Dallas Cowboys (4-1) @ Green Bay Packers (3-1)

Yeah he'd be a huge get and could play all over. Maybe 4-3 LDE on run downs, kick inside on pass downs. Like you said though probably no way Jets would ever do it.

True or False: Tony will be a Cowboy next year

I'm on the fence, might depend on if somebody gets stupid and makes a call offering the moon for him. Then they might get creative with his contract and try to do something so they could trade him.
