    Day After Thoughts: Trade edition

I'd argue Parsons helped, certainly drew more attention away from others. Q Williams draws double teams at an extremely high rate (and wins v them too). He should make a difference.

I don't think we overpaid. They acquired a great player that barring just "getting lucky" we were unlikely to get anyone that good in the draft (and certainly not in free agency).

2025 Week Ten: Thank God for Bye Weeks

RIP Tagliabue. Back when the league office was far better run than this fucking nonsense we see under Goodell.

I think if he averages 5-7 sacks and stuffs the run similarly to what he has done his career he is worth it. He should make the other guys on the front around him better.

He's 27 by the way. As for your comment, those were two outstanding picks (we traded up to get DLaw by the way). But you could have chose to note players like Taco, Mazi, Schoonmaker, Sam Williams, Kelvin Joseph, Trysten Hill, Haylon Smith & Randy Gregory too, and those guys were all more recent.

They moved him because of his contract and they had decided they got lucky with a 7th rd pick QB. The 7th rd pick never actually "beat out" Lance, Lance got hurt two separate times after earning the job. If Lance had never gotten hurt, Shanahan might have made something out of him. It was a...

    Day After Thoughts: Trade edition

John Owning had a post dedicated to why his sack production was down this yr, they showed how the new DL coach and HC Glenn were lining him up differently. Expect Whitecotton to move him back into the alignments and stance he was in before. From a pass rush metrics standpoint he is one of the...

    Day After Thoughts: Trade edition

Did they overpay for George Pickens? With Lance, A 4th rd pick for a guy who had started games at QB and been a top 5 pick himself doesn't seem like an "overpay" to me. It's a trade that didn't work out, but it was hardly an "overpay" You guys are off your rocker thinking Q Williams was an...

2025 Week Ten: Thank God for Bye Weeks

Eagles next two games: MNF at Green Bay, next weekend v Detroit. For Dallas to have any real chance of catching the Eagles they probably need to lose both of these games. If we beat the Raiders we'd be 4-5-1 and if Philly loses both they'd be 6-4. We play the Eagles that next week.

We shall see. He's one of the best players in the league at his position. We gave up the equiv of two 2nd rd picks.

And they will, and they would have done it the last time except Manchin and Sinema held out. Under the way the government SHOULD be run, you are right. The filibuster is there for a very valid reason. But the government is not run right. There is MASS corruption up there and the vast majority...
