Agree with that. I like Fred and TW a ton and am glad we have them. Escobar even looks like he at least has good catching ability. Just saying that we had a terrible defense last year and then didn't add anything to it. No surprise it's still terrible.

That's why some of us complained about using our first few picks on offense last year. Our top three rookies contributed to a good effort last night. If those three picks had been on defense, this D isn't that bad. But the yards don't mean much... With the continual rules changes, those yards...

No, he's not flawless and isn't totally blameless either. He's not perfect for sure. But he's a hell of a lot better QB than Garrett is a coach. And I know he's paid a ton of money -- all these guys are. But players like he and Witten really do care and have played not just hurt but injured...
