He plays much bigger than 5'9. I could be wrong about him but he's a gifted safety who's overshadowed by a deep safety class. I was hoping he'd have a good combine. His vertical yesterday was 40 1/2. For 5'9 that's good. And as it states above, he ran a 4.42 40. Just my opinion on this kid...

I'd rather have D.J. Fluker if that was the case. I don't dislike Johnson but Fluker is a mauler at RT. That's of course we don't draft Cooper, Warmack, or go DL, S.

He played for Syracuse University and is a sleeper safety in this draft. He's only 5'9 but in the combine he had a vertical jump of 40 1/2. He also did well in drills. And a 4.42 in the 40. He'd be a nice pick in the third or fourth round.

Well. Not totally sure. I know the safteties cover half the field and the corners the short zone. So, I guess it would depend on what coverage your in. I mean sometimes the MLB has to drop in coverage too. At some point the safety would have to cover the slot.

In the man to man they would. I know the corners cover the short zone and the safties usually deep but if the slot receiver goes too far the safety will have to cover.

There's nothing wrong with Vaccaro. The kid can run defend and cover. You couldn't ask for anything more. I just want to address safety later because it's a deep class.
