Would you trade up for Cox?

Trading down more brings more in return. I'm not going to pretend to predict the exact pick we would/should/could trade down to. 27 is about as low as you could go and still grab a "blue-chip" player who comes in, starts or contributes for us, and improves a position. 27 is probably too low for...

Would you trade up for Cox?

Again.. Similar value in the 10 through 20 range. Barron or Brockers at 14 isn't great value to me. Barron at 21? Much better.

    Draft's hottest prospect: Mark Barron's worth a top-10 pick

I mean that he's better closer to the line of scrimmage than he is further away from it. I mean that he has not shown me the ability to keep fast receivers in front of him or make plays on deep balls. He does not have the speed necessary to pick up a WR who cuts across the middle and challenges...

Would you trade up for Cox?

There is no one in this draft I would trade up for. We need 2 immediate starters and hopefully 2 or 3 future starters out of this draft.

    Draft's hottest prospect: Mark Barron's worth a top-10 pick

Yeah, I don't see that. He's a strong safety only and can't dominate a game like Roy could. He will be a little better than Roy was in deep coverage. Solid, not spectacular.

Do you feel Mark Barron is a better prospect than Roy Williams was?

    Draft's hottest prospect: Mark Barron's worth a top-10 pick

I would rank Barron below Taylor, Landry, and Earl Thomas.

    Draft thoughts and revised mock

LG and RG aren't as distinctive as the LT vs RT argument. Also, supposedly you don't take right tackles in the top 10 either. Tyron Smith says hello.

    2012 NFL Draft Chatter...

8 PM eastern on the 26th. Probably not good to start drinking in front of the AA member once news breaks that we've drafted DeCastro.

Anthony Spencer has long-term deal on table

Yes, I know..every move the Cowboys makes is a good one and every player we don't sign is a scrub. That's why we've won 17 championships in a row.

Anthony Spencer has long-term deal on table

I'd rather he was let go before he was tagged and we could have used $9M to sign 2 players. Now that he's been tagged, I'd rather sign him to a multi-year deal and not have to go through this again next off-season.

Anthony Spencer has long-term deal on table

I'd rather him sign a long-term deal than milk us for $9M and bounce.

    PREDICTIONS:Cowboys 2012 schedule

dbair's prediction...16 and 0, unless Tony Romo, Rob Ryan, or anyone not named Jerry Jones or Jason Garrett blows it for us. whoever we draft will immediately help the team, Nate Livings will be a Pro Bowler, blah, blah, blah...

Matt Kalil better than Trent Williams not Tyron Smith...

I feel the same way about Trojans going to Washington. Dead to me. I hate that they are getting RG3 but it does assure me Matt Barkley won't be a Redskin.
