Trading down more brings more in return. I'm not going to pretend to predict the exact pick we would/should/could trade down to. 27 is about as low as you could go and still grab a "blue-chip" player who comes in, starts or contributes for us, and improves a position. 27 is probably too low for...
I mean that he's better closer to the line of scrimmage than he is further away from it. I mean that he has not shown me the ability to keep fast receivers in front of him or make plays on deep balls. He does not have the speed necessary to pick up a WR who cuts across the middle and challenges...
Yeah, I don't see that. He's a strong safety only and can't dominate a game like Roy could. He will be a little better than Roy was in deep coverage. Solid, not spectacular.
I'd rather he was let go before he was tagged and we could have used $9M to sign 2 players. Now that he's been tagged, I'd rather sign him to a multi-year deal and not have to go through this again next off-season.
dbair's prediction...16 and 0, unless Tony Romo, Rob Ryan, or anyone not named Jerry Jones or Jason Garrett blows it for us.
whoever we draft will immediately help the team, Nate Livings will be a Pro Bowler, blah, blah, blah...
I feel the same way about Trojans going to Washington. Dead to me.
I hate that they are getting RG3 but it does assure me Matt Barkley won't be a Redskin.
