We were supposed to take Amukamara last year too...I just do not see us taking Dennard. Maybe I am giving Jerry too much credit, but I just cannot see us taking him.
Are you serious...you are going with "says who"? Anyways...when a guy like Loper could come off the streets and be on the active gameday roster over Arkin, that is a concern. That is my thought on it, I am not condemning the guy, but it is a red flag for me.
I just don't think there are that many CBs worth taking in the first half of the first round in any draft. There are exceptions of course, but for the most part I'd rather spend that pick elsewhere.
As an aside...I am all for adding a CB through the draft, but I don't want to have to rely on the draft to fill those slots. You could go with a couple of lesser guys...Will Gay, Jason Allen, Aaron Ross, Elbert Mack...something like that. Allen actualy impressed me quite a bit with the Texans...
Really? Those guys are not studs at all.
Tannehill also just suffered a broken foot, so that will lessen his value.
I could see them taking Martin, but with Claiborne off the board Richardson is a nice fall back.
I don't think there is any problem taking Kalil or Richardson where they are. Tannehill is not worth of the 6th pick in the draft, Kalil is a stud T and the Rams need one. I would have taken Richardson there if I was the Skins.
The reason we need bigger CBs is because the CBs are often left on an island due to Ryan's blitz schemes. They have no safety help and are left in many one on ones because the blitzes did not get to the QB. I don't want to be limited by that.
