    Give me Manziel

Good to see some of you coming around on him. :) He's always had that "it" factor. He's just a huge winner. He's great under pressure. As big as a d-bag as he may he, he's by all accounts a tremendous competitor. His passing has improved a lot and he's a lot better athlete than you think...

    Bowl Game Thread

That might be the worst defense in the country right now. They obviously didn't take Duke seriously the last few weeks.

    Coaches we should bring in

But Jerry Brown, man... JERRY BROWN

    Coaches we should bring in

I heard that earlier, too. Wouldn't that be a treat to see him destroy Garrett's offense twice a year. I'm all for it. More humiliation for Jerry.

What if Jerry brought back Jeff Ireland

Ireland is a disaster. He has to be almost as big a con man as Garrett to still have a job. Why would you want him back?

Hatcher: "I Really Don't Care If I Go Or Stay"

Ha, I was thinking there were more than SP. Must have been thinking of a different board or something. :awkward

Hatcher: "I Really Don't Care If I Go Or Stay"

Heard a bit of Steve's show today and even he acts like we're kinda screwed with the cap. Where's all that bluster about how anyone who says we can't do anything we want is a moron?

    JJT: Jerry regarding Jason

This about finishes me, too. I think this is basically the death knell for the careers of Romo and Witten and Ware, and that absolutely sucks. I'm rampaging today but I'll calm down eventually and not care so much. Maybe I'll be an active Cowboy (really Jerry) hater, I dunno. Or that might...

    JJT: Jerry regarding Jason

Yep. But then he's Jerry's back pocket boy. He's barely above Mickey.

Cowboys' 2013 closes in that familiar way

Is it me or is there more anger and disgust than anytime since maybe the late 90s? I don't even remember this much in the Campo years. And when does that turn into apathy? I know some will say the fans will show up forever, but I have to believe next year might be the year we start seeing...

    Glazer reporting...

I wonder if they got the "Airport Credit Card" speech or the "I Could Be Doing Anything in the World But I'd Rather Be Here" speech.

    Glazer reporting...

The biggest problem is the most protected. It's absolutely maddening.

    Glazer reporting...

Yep. Love how the Garrett apologists use injuries as an excuse for him, but it's not an excuse for the coordinator with all the injuries on his side of the ball. Our offense was incredibly healthy most of the year.

    JJT: Jerry regarding Jason

Proof beyond doubt that Garrett is just a Princeton-educated puppet.

Will Cowboys Hatcher And Ware Both Be On The Move?

Hatcher was practically saying he was gone last night in the locker room. Fisher was asking him leading questions trying to get him to endorse the coaching staff and he said he couldn't even address that because he basically wasn't a Cowboy anymore. I don't think he wants to leave, but he...

    Worst Possible Outcome

He really did. I think he got so scared to throw a pick that he couldn't pull the trigger. Got a feeling Foles has a lot of Matt Schaub in him. Good enough to run a system and beat bad teams, never good enough to win the game against good teams like you need to ever get anywhere.

    6,645 Yards surrendered...

Agree with that. I like Fred and TW a ton and am glad we have them. Escobar even looks like he at least has good catching ability. Just saying that we had a terrible defense last year and then didn't add anything to it. No surprise it's still terrible.

    6,645 Yards surrendered...

That's why some of us complained about using our first few picks on offense last year. Our top three rookies contributed to a good effort last night. If those three picks had been on defense, this D isn't that bad. But the yards don't mean much... With the continual rules changes, those yards...

    Worst Possible Outcome

No, he's not flawless and isn't totally blameless either. He's not perfect for sure. But he's a hell of a lot better QB than Garrett is a coach. And I know he's paid a ton of money -- all these guys are. But players like he and Witten really do care and have played not just hurt but injured...
