Jerry Jones: Kyle Orton doesn’t intend to retire

I wonder what Orton's motivation is. As he closes out his career, does he want more playing time than he thinks he'll get in Dallas? Did something crappy happen to him or his family while in Dallas and so he wants to move elsewhere? What else?

Former Dallas Cowboy Robert Newhouse dies at 64

He was sometimes referred to as the "human bowling ball" because he played so low to the ground and with a very low center of gravity.

    The 2014 Training Camp Thread

I'd be in no rush to draft Romo's replacement. The Cowboys will have one the league's worst records once Romo is gone. Get your QB then, when you can have the pick of the litter. I'm sure this is a total accident on Jerry's part (blind squirrel & acorn), but building the OL before acquiring...

James Garner works his last case, dead at 86

I believe that the Polaroid commercials came first (and also followed). Hard to believe how popular those commercials were at the time.

Shutdown Countdown: How bad might it get for the Dallas Cowboys?

I agree, I think the Dallas offense could be very good this year. If the OL improves as much as it might, that offense could be pretty tough to stop. I bailed out with 43 years last season. I'm not really a fan anymore. I'm a passive observer who has some morbid curiosity.

Insiders not high on Cowboys' work so far

A grade of "D" is charitable. I'm sure the outsiders are basing grades on the extent to which offseason changes should result in an improved team.

Jerry’s mantra of change should include drafting QB

IMO, there is no point in drafting a QB in the first 3 or 4 rounds until Romo is no longer playing. Better to add young talent in other positions until Romo is gone. Once Romo is gone, then swing for the fences. Mortgage your current and, if necessary, future draft to acquire a top-tier QB...

Were the early 1990's Super Bowls worth it?

The early 90's were worth it in my opinion. Those teams were awesome and a remarkable pleasure to watch. Heck, Harper's catch against the 49ers ... E. Smith's separated shoulder game ... and so many other memorable games. Those games and times were wonderful. Also, I enjoyed almost all of...
