The way I characterized some of that stuff was probably a bit harsh.

But, yeah, their scenarios are ridiculous. I grew up in Montana. Surrounded by gun nuts. When they started talking about the government taking their guns, I just laughed. That isn't going to happen ever, yet they stress about it all the damn time. I've been hearing that shit for 20 years.

The sad thing is that I actually am pretty conservative on a lot of things, but those guys are so damned batty it makes me instinctively want to disagree with them.

I'm glad that minimalist dude is 1000x more successful than me. Which apparently means he makes hundreds of millions of dollars per year......so good for him. That may have been one of the funniest responses ever. It was like a petulant child stomping their feet.
