Dooms?

It was 14.5 yesterday, would assume its going up and might end up at 16 or 17.

Had the one bad TD allowed when he guessed wrong on a route to a nobody, but otherwise he erased another top-end WR

Yeah, this should have been flagged.

That said, it was a ball Prescott should not have thrown either.

Right there with you.

He is the epitome of an enigma, not just from week to week but from drive to drive.

I just don't know what he sees sometimes when he makes these decisions. If he had done this his first couple years in the league you could understand, but he's been in the league 7 yrs now.

The Colts had a backup CB start on the other side, yet in the first half Prescott repeatedly threw to the guy covered by Gilmore. He was damn lucky he didn't have 3 or 4 throws picked off last night. He also threw the ball to the wrong guy more than a few times where someone else appeared to be wide open.

I just don't think he routinely makes his progression of reads and just knows pre-snap where he's going to go with the ball. The D really bailed him out last night and came on strong after a suspect 2 1/2 quarters of football. And the run game did a great job as well.

But I do agree with what Collinsworth said last night. The Eagles can beat you in so many ways. They're good on both sides of the ball and the game with Philly will tell us a little about where we're at. I don't think we match up well with them.

They looked like they would blow us out in first half when we played them before, only to barely survive the 2nd half.

The defense has to play a complete game and more than anything else we have to avoid the turnovers, we had 3 against them before and the last pick I think was where Lamb was wide open for the easy TD and Rush grossly underthrew the ball.

We actually outgained them in yards (315 to 268) but between the 3 turnovers and 10 penalties (they had no turnovers and only 2 penalties) that's where we lost the game. We can definitely beat them.

guess I was wrong about Philly, I didnt expect them to be able to blow out Tennessee, seems their coach tends to field a consistently tough, competitive team so I was bit surprised to see them get blown out

This year seems like the best chance for jeri & spawn to prove me wrong about winning another super bowl.

Has there been a better year since 95' in the NFC where every team seems so weak when Dallas has a decent team?

Even teams with Brady and Rogers seem weak although I suppose Brady could get on a roll at the right time given the overall competition of the NFC

I still think they'll choke but its right there for them to at least get there if they could string together 3 consecutive W's

I had hopes TN would at least give them a good game, but close examination of their season so far shows they've been painfully mediocre, and they actually have a negative points differential for the season.

They got ransacked by Buffalo and their best win was against Washington (a game they barely won).

If that were true they wouldn't allow Watson's fully guaranteed, five-year, $230 million contract
They don't have that power. The CBA rules this.

No criminal charges, no convictions. He was free to sign with whatever idiots would pay him.

Deion was officially named HC at Colorado.

His first announcement to the players there? Go hit the transfer portal. Basically said the more that left the merrier for him as he was bringing in all new talent from outside.

Not so subtle way of saying "all of you suck and not needed any longer"

Some dipshit Zoner complaining that the "Schultz missed fumble called completely changed the game"

First, yes it was a fumble.

Second, pretty sure he ended up recovering it anyway. One of the replays they showed he was clearly in possession of the ball on the ground. NBC was running on and on about the fumble but never bothered to note the recovery.

Pretty sure this is why the Colts didn't challenge as it happened right in front of all of them.

8) Not sure what happened on special teams last night but apparently the Colts found something on tape in our PAT/FG protection. They blocked one and nearly blocked two or three others. Maher's leg might be wearing down some. He was leading the league in touchbacks by a good margin but last night had only 2 on 10 kickoffs. We gave up nearly 30 yds per return too which is a concern.
This was mentioned a lot in the *cough* DCC *cough* game thread, especially the lack of touchbacks. And the fucking Polock's shotgun snaps were super slow again.

This was the most deceiving 54-19 game in NFL history. The game was close through three quarters and could've been tied had they converted the two-point attempt.
