Gregory, Anger, and Wilson and maybe Armstrong

The rest can kick rocks

Not sure I would invest much to keep Gregory. He had some games where he looked pretty dominant but too many where he disappeared for my liking. If it's a cap friendly deal loaded with incentives I'm on board, but otherwise I'd let him walk.

Schultz is a good TE, if it doesn't break the bank in order to keep him I'd make him one of the priorities too.

Kearse had a good year at safety and was clearly the best of that bunch. He's in the same boat as Schultz IMO.

Anger was sensational, hope we can keep him but if he walks he can be replaced.

You could put a WR at TE and get the same production. Schultz can't block and he's a liability in the run game. He just gets a lot of touches because he's the QB's safety blanket. I don't think he's special.

Its odd with Schultz because coming out of Stanford, he was regarded as a really good blocker and a solid "all-around TE prospect". David Shaw is an excellent HC and Stanford has produced a lot of good NFL TE's since Harbaugh and Shaw were there.

Because of that, I wonder how much of it is technique or scheme that he is being coached.

I agree he isn't "special" but he is pretty solid as a receiving TE. To me it comes down to the $$$ with him because if he leaves his replacement is not obviously on the roster today, which means we have to draft or sign someone.

None of these guys should get a huge contract. The only way I bring any of them back is on a team friendly deal.

If some other team wants to over pay them then Cya! Go get yo money son, and good luck to ya!

We are going to be in cap hell this next season. We should restructure Cooper, Zeke, and D-Law to make space. I would say Dak but he just barely got paid so they won’t touch his contract this soon. Although, with his performance in the playoffs they really should.

1 thing im thinking of that if quinn leaves, DAL must be a really exciting destination to coach young guys like parsons and diggs

We never like those big bodies at DT but if we can draft one or two of those guys, this D can be even better. It's just a player or two away from being really elite. And Parsons is special.

Home teams this weekend for WC Round:

5-1

Bucs win by 16
Rams by 23
Bills by 30
KC by 20
Bengals by 7

And four of those five games were not even as close as the score indicated. Bengals was only one that was really a contest of those 5.

And the one outlier? The losers of Dallas. 26 years and counting of fucking garbage.

I remember watching football for the first time in 1975 and have been a Cowboys ever since. The first 25 years I was a fan produced 6 Super appearances (4 wins) 10 NFC Title games (6 of those wins) and the longest drought between championships was 15 years. Longest drought between Super Bowl appearances was 14 years. Longest drought without a conference championship appearance was 10 years.

This is now 26 (TWENTY SIX) years of a complete drought for everything.

its why my fandom is dead, jeri is the reason for the 26 years and if it wasn't clear from day one, its should be now to even a blind man, jeri does not have what it takes to build a winning team & organization legitimately capable of competing for and winning super bowls and never will

parity gives the illusion they're close with illusory years like 2021 that appear semi-good at a passing glance but deeper analysis reveals huge structural flaws too vast to list which reveal themselves consistently when playing the best competition

the only hope for Cowboy fans is that jeri does something to get cancelled and is forced to sell the team or the entire family is wiped off the planet in some horrific event and even my hate for jeri will never run deep enough to justify rooting for the latter so its back to where we where in 1995 imo:

Cowboy fans are forever fucked and will never see another Super Bowl win as long as jeri is alive and likely thereafter! I said it the day I heard Jimmy was fired and its never been more true

another career about to be wasted in Dallas, get out the first chance you get kid, you'll never win anything here. If this was basketball, he could probably carry a team across the finish line but I just dont see how thats possible in the NFL

im just sayin that parson and diggs are BOTH FIRST TEAM all-pro at their positions. parsons is 22 and diggs is 23 yrs old.

if youre a defensive minded coach and you look at the landscape of jobs available..... how is DAL not at the top of the list ???

if quinn leaves, DAL should have coaches lining up to fill the vacancy. if DAL promotes from within again, they are going to be making a huge mistake

Having said that, we'll probably draft a CB and WR.....

I doubt they'll take a CB very high after taking one in the 2nd and 3rd last yr. Lewis and Brown are under contract and Diggs is already an all-pro. Brown or Lewis could potentially be trade bait I suppose.

WR could be an issue depending on what happens with Gallup and Wilson as FA and potentially Cooper as a trade or cap casualty.
