I'd be surprised if Quinn isn't gone. What he's done with the D is pretty impressive. Kellen Moore, not so much. He can go and I'll pay for his airfare.

I hope Quinn stays but it isn't like he recreated the 85 Bears defense here. Its just our defense was so bad last yr.

They added a decent amount of young talent in this past draft so the cupboard is definitely not bare. If they give the job to Joe Whitt or George Edwards, I don't think we'll see much (if any) drop off. In fact I think its likely to improve with just about anyone at DC as long as it isnt someone as lousy as Mike Nolan.

The offense is a different story. Replacing Moore and Philbin with competent people that would instill a more physical attitude seem like no-brainers to me.

They added talent but Quinn knew how to use them. He wasn't a slave to any particular scheme and moved Parsons around to take advantage of mismatches. Our D was horrifically bad last year (and previous years) and it's not an accident that they improved drastically with a new DC. We still need some beef on the interior of the DL and a LB, but I also think Cox can help this D next year. I'm pretty excited to see what he brings to the table.

And speaking about physicality, I was watching the game last night and noticed just how physical the Rams were. It's definitely a mindset and made me think that we probably wouldn't have beaten them even if we won.

DAL is still a little bit away on defense, and i think they need a strong voice at the top as their new DC if quinn is gone. quinn has pedigree and they been learning his defensive concepts since richard. quinn thankfully did not rest on his laurels and tried different things. he was smart enough to move parsons around and probably helped develop some of his pass rush skills

also, the dumpster diving isnt going to stop. DAL is bottom 5 in the league in cap space

Apparently Ben McAdoo would be a strong candidate for offensive coordinator should Moore get hired elsewhere, but I read in the Zone McAdoo has a scheduled interview with Carolina to become their OC this week.

Our O Line coach needs to be gone, if for no other reason than for keeping Connor in after leading the league in penalties, and most of them being pre-snap penalties. He should have been benched. But since he wasn’t, the O Line coach was a complete and utter failure at coaching him this season. I mean the kid led the fucking league in penalties! Come one now. How does he still have a job? And I’m taking about both Connor and the fucking coach. Fuck you both. GTFOH! Cya!

Every coach on this team should be fired. If for no other reason than the fact that this team led the league in penalties. That all comes down to discipline, which we clearly had none of, and coaching! That is 100% on the coaches. Especially the pre-snap variety. If you can’t coach that shit out of them and get your guys disciplined enough to not fuck up multiple times every single game then you need to be gone. Every single one of you!

And Bones Fassel? Fuck him too! I’ll give him some credit. His squad did perform in some games. But his downfall is not only supporting Greg Zuerlein from the get go, giving him the job unchallenged in preseason even after he had off season surgery, but what was even worse was that he stuck with him each and every week even after he missed 12+ kicks and lost us 3 games this season. Jerry has already said that the game plans had to be altered because we just didn’t trust our kicker. Fuck that! Fassel should be gone just for that fact alone.

Fuck the entire organization from Jerry on down! From the Jocks to the Socks so to speak. The only rehire/extension I don’t mind is Will McClay. He has done well for us in recent years. Sure he has had some misses like Taco and Trysten Hill along with few others. But for the most part he has been pretty decent.

This season we had the #1 scoring offense, the #1 defense in takeaways, the likely rookie DPOTY, another possible overall DPOTY, we set franchise records left and right, we had a statistically historical successful season and yet we are one and done in the playoffs?

This is the best overall team we have had in decades and we shit the bed in the wildcard round of the playoffs.

Every coach can fuck off and GTFOH!

I believe he fully understands this but the extra money he would make from someone else running the show and winning is not enough to compensate for no longer being able to play with his toy and be the center of the universe for all things Cowboys.

I think he would die within 24 hours if he ever got cancelled and no one ever put a mic in his face again, called to get his opinion and become persona non grata where he had to languish in obscurity with no one to listen to him blathering on

The lack of attention would crush him and he'd die from a broken heart
