    Dallas Cowboys 2026 Offseason Thread

I kinda cringe when I watch Milton play so I wouldn't mind watching him in pre season even if he didn't make the final roster.

It's been since Coughlin that they've had a legit top guy so it should get interesting. My call is if Steele and Guyton can handle Burns, Carter and Thibodeaux off the edge in game one then Dallas wins. If not, Dallas loses. My opinion.

Yep, Clark is who I forgot.

Whether free or strong, we know he ain't getting Thompson or Downs's snaps. I think the only real question is can he get snaps from Bell or Locke and ...I'm missing one other guy right?

Yep, I'm a huge fan of Landry/Parcells and most all their coaching philosophies. But something has to make you scratch your head when a team like the Dallas Cowboys, notorious for keeping high bust round selectees too long, would just give up on high draftees ie Taco and Mazi...? So again, ya...

I still saw tight ends handling him in one on one's on large portion of snaps so my All 22's calibration may not match yours. With all other posts considered I usually consider all past performance related comments I make to include coaching staffs and health. I believe, and may be it's just...

Not every rookie defensive end jumps on the scene making a Parsons type splash, and Parsons was a linebacker at first, but I'm not a 3 year wait and see develop type guy. Sorry if I need to see a little more early on regardless because if not I'll most likely compare it to the Mazi Smith and...

May be true in both cases considering individual circumstances but neither showed consistent edge pressure regardless. Gregory flashed much more than Kneeland certainly.

Hope he's not another Gregory or Kneeland(RIP) type disappointment. Heck, I'd take a Dorance Armstrong type ceiling regarding a consistent edge pressure type performer at this point.

EARLY pick-em: Cowboy win total for 2026 season. And GO!

Individual games aside I'm going a 3rd consecutive 7 win season with the offense not quite as good as last year's. And a defense, that while improved from last year's dumpster fire, is still unable to match all the offseason hype its being given based on a new DC and unproven rookies. A 3rd...

Fair enough. I will continue to support this contrast in personalities. But honestly, I will more look forward to that regular season post game loss alter ego whose detailed critical analysis is consistently some of his most accurate work and not just a bunch of negative hyperbole imo. Go dbair!

I can't figure out which dbair personality side I prefer... This offseason rainbows & sunshine optimistic side or the post game loss criticizing one. I thinks it's the latter though. Lol

Dallas Cowboys 2026 Draft Picks & UDFA Thread

Yep, hopefully you're right and Jerry's rule in the war room with that GodFather gavel has been lessened. Although to see them proactively make a move with the current cap repercussions would literally shock me based on this front office's history. I thought the dee was definitely good enough in...

You may be right about that but my real or implied emphasis was on Jerry's present comfort zone with Dak. It's a real thing. As you said no real draft capital/other real FA resources has been used towards the position. My real time concern is a comparison using Jerry as decision maker of the...

Another aspect is the Cowboy Forbes trophies keep on going. And not in no small part to Jerry having lucked into an undrafted free agent in Romo and an overachieving 4th rounder in Dak at the most important position in football. So Jerry feels no pressure to change with his annual profits...
