There was speculation when Rob Ryan became defensive coordinator that Dave Campo’s role as secondary coach might change along with some other alterations to the defensive staff. That didn’t happen.

Campo will direct the secondary again, with Brett Maxie as assistant secondary/safeties coach. Campo said head coach Jason Garrett emphasized after the season that he wanted him back in some capacity.

“Jason made it very clear to me right from the very beginning that he wanted to try to get some new ideas, new things in, which I think he’s done a great job of the guys he’s added to the staff,” Campo said. “I did not know exactly what my role was going to be. But he made it clear to me that he wanted me to be here and be part of it and to help him. That’s all I really care about at this point in my career.

“Now, would I have wanted to come off the field? No, because I enjoy being on the field. I enjoy the teaching part and I think that’s my strength."

Dude has compromising pictures of Jerra. I bet he got them one of the times he was cleaning Jerra's pool.
