5 questions about today's game:

1. Want to kick or receive to start?

2. Will Dak try to force feed Dez to "avenge" 2014?

3. Over Under Elliott rush yards : 105

4. Final score prediction?

5. Do you predict and surprise big performances by a Cowboys player?

1) Receive
2) No, although I do think Dez might have a big game
3) Over
4) Just hope we win, even if by just a point
5) I don't know if it would classify as "surprise" big performance, but I think with GB probably selling out to take Elliott away (especially early) Prescott might be set up to do quite a bit of damage in the 1st half against a not so good GB secondary.

Its infuriating that the NFL has set up an entity so beset against its own labor force. They should not be be allowed to create another layer of law enforcement above and beyond the one we already have in place in this country but this is what happens when you throw a bunch of attorneys in a room together and have them fixate on liability as it relates to the NFL and its image.

I actually think its worse than that. This kind of reeks of "witch hunt" and a PR stunt by the league to offset a bunch of prior negative pub over this issue. They put that kunt in charge of this stuff at the league office and I think her advice to Goodell is probably something along the lines of "very high profile player with most profile sports franchise, we make an example here and the media and country in general will give us major points"

I bet if Elliott played for the Browns or some other 2nd rate team that wasn't in the playoff push this would have been done and gone long ago.

Some of the rookies played on teams that were just borderline playoff teams. I wonder what the record is for rookie QB's starting at home.

ESPN Stats and Information

Dak Prescott will be the first Dallas Cowboys rookie quarterback to start a playoff game, and the 16th rookie quarterback to start a playoff game in the Super Bowl era (since 1966). Rookie quarterbacks are 8-15 in playoff starts. None have ever reached the Super Bowl.

4. 37-26 win for Cowboys (repeat of 1982).

5. Lucky Whitehead to break off his first big return of the season.

Vegas thinks we're going to roll today.

Opening line was Green Bay +4.

60% of the betting public is taking Green Bay and the points, yet the line has still increased to Green Bay +5.5

Vegas is trying to induce more wagers on Green Bay. Public losses equals vegas wins.

If so, I don't think its because they have it in for the Cowboys, its that they know the media shit storm that surrounds the Cowboys will be infinitely more intense than with the Browns. Attorneys being liability conscious are being extreme in their treatment of Zeke because there is no benefit to them to declare him innocent but there is a contingent liability if they do. Simply risk averse mentality employed by an attorney on behalf of their client. The players association needs to bring suit against the league for situations like this so they feel just as much pressure to resolve a case as they do to leave it open.

Perhaps Pep can chime in, I'm sure he has a more accurate opinion on this issue

I hope the Cowboys use all of this Aaron Rogers/Packer talk in the same vein the Patriots do and steamroll them today.
