whoever the scout was on Randle he should be fired if he did not find evidence that Randle was a mental case. Now I can see if for whatever reason Jerruh and company decided to ignore that part of the report; they do that stupid crap all the time. BUt if there was nothing in that report that hinted at this sort of thing then that scout needs to be GONE.

The decision to draft Randle in the first place may have been stupid, but it wasn't nearly as stupid as last off-season's decision to trust that Randle (along with some help from McFadden) would adequately replace Murray.

Did we really sign that guy who has two sacks in 30 years to a 8.5 million dollar deal?

Is this real life?

Dallas Cowboys working to schedule visit next week with free agent CB Patrick Robinson

The Dallas Cowboys will host Washington Redskins free agent running back Alfred Morris on Monday, but they are also working to schedule a visit next week with unrestricted free agent cornerback Patrick Robinson, according to sources.

Robinson will be the third cornerback the Cowboys have had visit Valley Ranch during free agency. They first brought in Philadelphia cornerback Nolan Carroll, but he ended up re-signing with the Eagles on a one-year deal with a base value of $2.36 million that could max out at $3 million. The Cowboys had Cincinnati cornerback Leon Hall in for a visit Wednesday, but he left without a deal.

New Orleans made Robinson a first-round pick in 2010 out of Florida State. He spent his first five seasons with the Saints before becoming an unrestricted free agent last offseason.

The Cowboys also had some interest in Robinson, 28, last offseason before he signed a one-year, $2 million deal with the San Diego Chargers. He played in every game for the Chargers and started 10, finishing with 49 tackles, eight pass breakups and one interception.
Robinson (5-11, 191) started 33 games in his five seasons in New Orleans and had nine interceptions and 46 pass breakups.

Why has Alfred Morris' production dropped so much each of the past four years? 1600, 1200, 1000, 750?

You keep saying this but there was no evidence of it prior to us getting him. None of the OSU coaches or players ever said anything negative about him.

I think it was a little over 8 mils for 3 yrs.

But yeah, we signed him to an offer sheet. I can hardly wait to see this extreme talent in action.

He appeared a little out of shape to me last yr.

But his first two years Shanahan was the HC, and Shanahan has the track record of getting great production from RB's.

This guy we signed to the offer sheet from Oakland is so important that it still isn't mentioned anywhere on the Raiders website.

Please let his happen. If for nothing else, it most likely keeps us from drafting Ramsey at 4.

Yeah, I haven't understood all of the hype coming out of the Dallas media with this guy.

He looked like he was done last year. He also looked over weight. He wasn't able to break tackles and often got taken down by the first tackler. Then he got out shown by Matt Jones. You remember how Eddie George looked by the time he got to Dallas? That's about how Morris looked.

Who the fuck is it?

UDFA by the Seahawks 3yrs ago. I think he has two or three career sacks.

College career

During his time, he played in 45 games at the University of Idaho, collected 67 tackles (47 solo), 11 sacks, 11 forced fumbles and had three fumble recoveries.

Professional career

Seattle Seahawks

He was signed by the Seattle Seahawks in May 2013 as an undrafted free agent. He played the first two games of the season. He was waived by the Seahawks on August 30, 2014 during final roster cuts.

Oakland Raiders

On August 31, 2014, he was claimed off waivers by the Oakland Raiders.

Benson Mayowa.

Interesting that we signed him to an offer sheet and were looking at O'Brien Schofield. Both were on the Seahawks roster together at one point.
