Russ Lande on twitter yesterday said he believed Mike Glennon would be the #1 overall pick in the draft.

That's coming out of nowhere, now isn't it?

It seems crazy but he has been rising lately. Some NC State fans compare him to Romo so he has that going for him.

I'm all but convinced we go DL probably first and 2nd round.

We'll address OL in the third, completely ignoring how shitty we are at finding mid round Oline talent, and expect them to compete.

Basically we're going into 2013 with the same Oline and expecting a different result.

I mean, I know our Dline needs an overhaul, but I think Oline is a more significant need.

We cant protect Romo and we can't run block.

Pretty sure you are wrong, like most everything else you have predicted lately.

But A for effort there amigo.

My predictions lately have been wrong because in my blind fandom I had forgotten how flawed, mediocre, and incompetent my team was.

If I was making another homer prediction, I'd be saying we're going Oline in the first. Get a guard in here that can wall off interior blitzers and give Romo a pocket to step into, or someone who can effectively give Murray some running lanes instead of having to rely on his constant cut backs and miracle plays.

But instead, I think we go after a significant, but nearly as pressing need and go Dline.

I guess I shouldn't complain though as long as we dedicate a draft to rebuilding the trenches.

college football is getting very close to being unwatchable for me...all this hurry up/spread option offense crap is making the game incredibly boring

Like I said, almost unwatchable.

I'm a Georgia guy, but this game is awful IMO. In just one half there's been almost 50 pts scored. Almost 600 yards of offense. First half took almost two hours to play.

College football sux. And the NFL seems to be taking steps every year to get more like it.

Mammoth Vols nose guard Daniel McCullers — all 6-8, 360 pounds of him — just confirmed he's returning for his senior season.

Good source told me that Texas A&M OT Jake Matthews is staying in school - He would be shocked if he entered 2013 Draft.

You know what would be awesome?

If someone like Barkley fell to us at 18, and a team like, oh, I don't know, the Jaguars decided to trade up with us, offering their 2nd rounder this year and a first next year.

We'd have #33 and #49 in the second. Plus a likely top 10 next year.

Would you do it?

Couldn't agree more. That's the one good thing about Bama being so good lately.

Though I have to admit that not many teams have copied them. Which surprises me.

Yes but we've had bad luck with this type of move. Both the Bills and Browns had better than expected seasons after trading us their # 1 pick.

Saying that, I think we'd be relatively safe with Jacksonville.
