Martellus Bennett could have been our Jake Ballard. Dude started out as a great blocker at TE, but worked his way into a reliable and sometimes amazing pass-catcher too, and has about a quarter of the talent that Martellus possesses.

edit: wow, Ballard entered today's game averaging 17 yards a catch. That's insane.
