Then who do we take in the 1st? You're not suggesting we take Carpenter with our first? If we don't end up with Smith, then I hope that we trade down and get Sherrod.

I'd rather have Jordan if that is the choice. And then for a 2nd rounder, I'd rather have Orlando Franklin over Carpenter.

Carpenter would be like a 3rd round pick.

Not a fan of Franklin. His IQ and motivation have been questioned in the past. He's started 35 games and is still raw. Don't want dumb linemen.

Like Carpenter alot, although I have my doubts he will make it to our pick in round three. He's definitely one of my fallback picks.
