What a joke this fucking country is.

Not that Trump is an ideal candidate... but holy fuck Hillary is pure shit. Completely corrupt and shady and a shit human being, and she's going to be the next president.

It's fucking unreal how we've gone from Roosevelts, Kennedy's, and Reagans to this shit show the past 16 years plus at least four more.

Someone fucking nuke us and end this shit now.

Nobody should be happy with any of our options. Democrat or Republican, they are all just terrible.

It is terribly sad that I think I'm almost hoping for an independent run from someone like Romney. He's terrible too, but I think he might be better than the current options

A "yet-to-be-determined" independent doesn't have time to get on the ballot in enough states to do anything. The only 3rd party that's going to be on the ballot in all 50 states is Gary Johnson. He's getting a lot of pub lately but he's still got less than 1% chance of winning per that election betting odds site.

Looks like Hillary has it locked up.

Fuck.

Or folks want you to put your money on Hillary.

Personally, I can't see her not getting indicted. Things will change from now until election day.

She won't get indicted. There's no way. No friggin way. She's too powerful and the system is too corrupt.

If they don't indict her, the head of the FBI might just resign in protest.

This in itself would be nearly as bad for Hildakunt.

Johnson lost s lot of support last week when he made some stupid remarks about getting rid of the guns. All of the conservative, pro-gun people are dumping him.

Exactly. The Clintons are above the law. Hillary will never be indicted. They have been involved in illegal activity since he was governor and they have never came close to being held accountable .

Idk, Junk.

If I could describe this whole primary season in one word, it would be "rejection".

Seems that a majority of American voters have made a statement about politics and government. Everyone is sick of nothing getting done. Tired of electing party hacks that say one thing to get elected, then do whatever Corporate America wants, voters be damned, promises be damned.

I'm surprised it's taken this long for this type of rejection to take place.

I would have to disagree with the thought that Obama or W would make easy work of this. We had W part two with Jeb, he was rejected to the tune of like 4% support.

I'm convinced that if the Democrats did a do-over of their primaries, Hillary would lose to Bernie in a big way. I think she won a lot early because people want to vote for a winner, nobody thought Sanders could beat her, or even wanted to for that matter. Hillary is basically Obama right now. She's running on the "progress" he's made, whatever the fuck that is, and she's having a helluva time beating a socialist.

BTW, my generation is easily going to go down as the worst generation in the history of this country. The thought that socialism is something that's appealing to this generation, it's scary. I blame it on not enough ass beatings from parents and trophies for everyone.

I agree with the general state of politics. Hillary is more of the same of that so I get that rejection. However I also don't think the answer is electing Trump.

Hopefully the success of Trump is enough to shake things enough to get meaningful change in politics

However in the mean time, we still have to deal with one of these shit candidates

You mean Trump voters, right? Because how can we want something done when we can't agree on what needs to be done? There are the pro-jobs people who know this economy is held back by Obama's vision, but then we have people on the complete opposite end who actually think Obama and Hillary aren't socialist enough. Not nearly enough.

BTW, my generation is easily going to go down as the worst generation in the history of this country. The thought that socialism is something that's appealing to this generation, it's scary. I blame it on not enough ass beatings from parents and trophies for everyone.
I don't even think it's your generation, or maybe the later half of yours, the 20-somethings. It's one of the saddest things I've ever seen, and it's all because young people are being misled. The revisionist history being taught in schools today is scary.

I don't know, maybe the 60s were like this -- I wasn't around for that -- and we can bounce back. But I don't think anything like this has happened in modern America. Sad to say, but I fully expect us in 10 or 15 years to be fully socialist, if not worse.

Like I said, terrible. So are Trump Hillary and Bernie. Any one of those three could be historically bad.

Obama or W would run away with this field which speaks to how bad it is

And yet a record number of people voted for Trump in the R primary, isn't that true?

That's a good point. Maybe he would have fared better than I thought. As bad as the fields were in previous years, I do think they were stronger than this year, but the numbers are pretty telling.

I'll readily admit I don't get Trump or the support he is getting.

I guess for those that are big supporters.....what does he offer that is appealing, other than being an atypical politician?

He is an outsider to Washington, he says what is on his mind and that is usually not PC, he is s career businessman instead of a career politician. Trump may be a lot of things but I don't think he is for sale, Trump is the American Dream - lots of money and he bangs hot chicks , Trump gained a ton of support because of his stance on illegal immigration, his ego is s good thing- it will not allow him to fail. a these are just a few reasons that I hear being discussed. I support Trump because of these and some more.

Trump can definitely be better than Hillary.I'm hoping his business acumen, whatever it is,makes him him surround himself with knowledgeable people, both as advisers and in his cabinet.
Should he pull off the win,of course.
He'll have some power via Executive order, but he'll have to learn to get along with the Dems and probably some Republicans as well to push some of his ideas through.
I'll say lately though it seems he's become somewhat aware of this.
One more thing.I really would like him, again if he wins,to not be the "I know you are but what am I?"guy.
He would be the CinC of the largest and best military in the world.I'd really hate World War 3 to start over his bruised ego.
Trump claims he'll be the most presidential guy ever. That would be a welcome change,IMO.
As I type this however,Clinton has a lead in the National polls.

I didn't hear about that... he's been consistently pro 2nd Amendment. Got a link?

Is Trump really a great business man? How many times have his companies filed for bankruptcy? Scams like Trump University... That's not to mention his failed endeavors.

He's a great business man like Jerry is a great GM. You make enough decisions, eventually some of them will pan out. But there are some disasters in there.
