ARLINGTON, Texas – Thirteen Cowboys sat out Thursday's preseason game due to injuries. It appears that only one player was added to the injured list.

Backup safety Mike Hamlin left the game in the third quarter, walking woozily off the field with assistance after making a tackle.

Hamlin's injury was announced as a strained neck. He said he also suffered a concussion.

"I don't really remember the play, but I don't think it's that big of a deal," Hamlin said. "Neck's a little stiff. [I have a] headache, but it's going away."

I'm relieved to hear the only injury was a minor one.

I'd be interested to know how Hamlin, and Church for that matter, have looked in action.

Anyone paying them any attention care to chime in?

Hamlin and Church have been okay, but I will give more credit to our front seven for bringing the pressure and making them look good, there you happy.
